FOCUS Foundation

 

The FOCUS (For Our Children's Ultimate Success) Foundation was founded in January 2005 by CoastLife Credit Union with a heartfelt commitment to investing in the future of our youth. Recognizing the critical need to support children in our community, the Credit Union's Management, Staff, and Board joined forces to create meaningful change across Aransas, Duval, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, and San Patricio Counties.

Since its inception, the FOCUS Foundation has proudly awarded over $330,000 in grants to schools and organizations that directly impact young lives. These funds have provided essential items like school uniforms and supplies, supported after-school programs, and funded educational initiatives, helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Incorporated as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization under Texas law in October 2007, the Foundation continues to be a beacon of hope and opportunity. Each dollar you contribute goes directly toward programs that empower educators, uplift students, and transform communities.

The FOCUS Foundation is a proud campaign partner of the Read Aloud 15 Minutes that stresses the importance of reading to young children every day. Why read aloud? Research shows that reading aloud is the single most important thing you can do to help a child prepare for reading and learning.
